Description

The annual Lt. Governor's Travel Summit is the premier educational conference for tourism and hospitality leaders in the Louisiana tourism industry.  The three day conference features world-renowned speakers, a multitude of networking opportunities, an online auction and much, much more.  This year's conference will be held at the Roosevelt Hotel New Orleanks in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Cancellation Policy: 50% Refund through August 10, 2021 - No Refunds after August 17 , 2021

Conference Registration

Pass Name Description
Full Registration In-person registration for entire conference includes all meal functions.
Lt Governor Opening Reception Only This pass is for the Lt. Governor's opening reception on Tuesday. This year's Opening Event will feature a reception and dinner highlighting some of the best of the Crescent City! Lt. Governor will also share his plan for post-pandemic tourism recovery over a spectacular dinner aboard an authentic riverboat.
LTLA Registration This pass is for LTLA student in the 2021 class.
Partner Showcase Registration This pass include sregistration for the entire conference as well as a booth at the Partner Showcase on August 25. (Booth set up August 24; 3-5pm)
Student Registration One day student registration includes meal functions for one day. Must be a registered student to qualify
Thursday One Day Registration One Day Registration for Thursday. Thursday will include the Travel Fair Breakfast, and all scheduled breakout sessions.
Wednesday One Day Pass One Day Registration for Wednesday. Wednesday Registration includes the Partner Showcase, Louisiana Office of Tourism General Session, all scheduled breakout sessions, and an evening optional event . The Optional Event is a separate registration fee.

FAM Tour 2 - Hop-On, Hop-Off City Tour with Mardi Gras World and WWII Museum Aug 24, 2021 12:30 PM -

Take a grand tour of New Orleans on the Top Deck of the RED Open-Top Double-Decker Hop-On Hop-Off bus. Enjoy sightseeing in all the most interesting areas of the city on this 90-minute tour with a fun and intriguing tour guide. See the French Quarter, Garden District, Basin St. Station, St. Louis Cemetery #1, Canal St., Superdome, Warehouse District, Mississippi River and Magazine St. and Hop-Off for a visit to two of New Orleans' most famous attractions. Stop 1: The National WWII Museum The National WWII Museum tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world-why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today-so that all generations can understand the price of freedom and be inspired by what they learn. Through exhibits, multimedia experiences, and thousands of personal accounts, the Museum takes visitors on an immersive tour of World War II in every theater of war. Stop 2: Mardi Gras World Stop at Mardi Gras World where you will get a behind-the-scenes look at where Mardi Gras is made. Since 1947, their artists and craftsmen have designed and built the oldest and biggest parade floats and attractions for each Mardi Gras season, with over 500 floats built and decorated each year. Here, you'll get an overview of the history of Mardi Gras in New Orleans and a tour of the float den where artists work year-round to build spectacular floats and props.

Discover the legacy and lore of your favorite drinks on this self-guided tour. Explore thoughtful exhibits in a beautiful setting with opportunities to talk with experts, enjoy complimentary samples and learn about the methods used in distilling Sazerac Rye. This is your place to see how the Sazerac is part of the customs, traditions and culture of New Orleans. *A valid government issued photo identification card is required to access The Sazerac House. Must be 21 years old or older to enjoy samples and enter tasting rooms.

Just a short drive outside of the heart of New Orleans, you will find Louisianas swamplands teeming with wildlife. Hop on an airboat or pontoon boat to glide through moss draped cypress trees and see the bayou come to life right before your eyes. Youll have the chance to see alligators, wild boar, egrets and more all in their natural habitat and within feet of the boat. Learn about the swamp and its inhabitants from local, expert guides. Theyll even show you how to feed the alligators! This tour is the perfect opportunity to escape busy city life, slow down and soak in the beauty of nature.

See captivating views of the French Quarter fade into the distance as the joyful tunes of jazz carry you down the river. Stroll the multiple decks and savor the leisurely two-hour cruise that will give you beautiful panoramic views of the Mississippi River and the many unique sites along her banks, with live narration.
